Though Mr. Huw Gower works with some other NYC schools as well, we think he has a special fondness for MDS -- which is nice, because we love him right back! Many children who have practically grown up here, especially from the formative ages of two to five, leave with Mr. Huw's voice and guitar chords forever in their heads and in their hearts. Getting together to play and sing one Saturday morning felt great for a few reasons: these children's voices blended really well with Mr. Huw's, some big kid alumni were able to join in, and Ms. Ashley played along, too! And now that Mr. Dennis Cronin (father of Dov, in Hummingbirds, and Mira, a Doves alumna) has wrapped up the studio work and Huw himself has pressed the CDs, we're ready to party. As soon as you hit play, you'll be celebrating, too. Good times, great memories -- enjoy!
